WHILE expecting her third child, one woman made a shocking discovery about her husband.
The young mum couldn’t believe the message she read on her partner’s phone after six years of marriage.
In her post, the Reddit user explained that she had been going through a tough time when she learned of her husband’s betrayal
The couple, who had been together since they were in their late teens and early 20s, had been dealing with the poster’s dad’s cancer diagnosis.
She described how the illness had “gotten progressively worse” and how her husband encouraged her to quit her job.
“After finding out I was pregnant again he ensured me it was still OK to quit my job, that honestly it would save us a small fortune on daycare costs,” she recalled.
She explained that she had been up early one morning with their sick three-year-old when her husband’s work alarm went off.
Since her partner “rolled over and went back to sleep” she reached for his phone herself.
“As I went to turn off the remainder of his alarms I saw a text from my friend on his lock screen,” she said.
According to the mum-of-three, the message read: “I’m assuming since there hasn’t been an angry pregnant lady on my doorstep you haven’t told her about us yet?”
The Reddit user described how “time froze in that moment” as she read through the incriminating conversation.
She discovered that the shocking affair had been going on for four months.

She described their relationship as “soulmates in friend form” and said they were as “thick as thieves.”
According to the poster, there had been “no warning signs” and her husband “has been so loving and attentive” as always.
“There has been no late night work nights except for once in a blue moon, there has been no lingering touches between them or even glances,” she explained.
She revealed that she was planning to confront her husband and cut off her best friend entirely.
