CORONATION Street fans were left stunned by DS Swain star’s surprising real-life connection to Peter Andre.
DS Swain actress Vicky Myers has a shock link to the pop icon years before her Weatherfield debut.
Lisa Swain has been solving crimes on the cobbles since she arrived in Coronation Street back in 2021.
Her storylines have included her the murder investigation of Joel Deering, her daughter Betsy’s boyfriend Mason getting stabbed, and reinvestigating her late partner Becky’s murder.
She has also embarked on a new lesbian romance with the feisty businesswoman Carla Connor (Alison King) after finally giving in to her feelings.
But before joining Coronation Street, Vicky had other TV roles in Ackley Bridge, Casualty, The Long Shadow in 2023, and BBC One’s Age Before Beauty alongside Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley.
However, soap fans were left stunned by her unexpected connection with the Australian singer Peter Andre.
In 2015, Vicky starred in an Iceland advert with the Mysterious Girl singer and seen flirting with him.
Corrie fans are buzzing as they shared the unearthed clip on social media.
One wrote: “Crying.”
Another added: “My mind is actually blown.”
And a third penned: “As if that’s Lisa from Corrie!”

However, her life turned into a real-life soap after she separated from her husband and was diagnosed with cancer in 2010.
She previously said: “I don’t know if it’s my previous medical history, but I am so proud to be here and just to be living each day to the full.
“When my husband and I split up, I was quite down, bitter and vengeful, and when I was told I had [cancer], I remember thinking, ‘If this is it for me, I’ve missed out on all this time with my daughter and I haven’t really been the best person that I wanted to be.’
“The diagnosis re-centred me and made me focus on what is really important and what makes me happy.
“Now, every time I go into work and see the Coronation Street sign, it’s quite overwhelming.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and on ITVX from 7am.
