GAVIN and Stacey fans have been let in on a secret about their favourite BBC comedy, as they discovered a scene was filmed 15 years ago but only just aired.
The mysterious fishing trip between Gavin and Stacey characters Bryn and Jason has been a long running joke, with fans itching to find out what happened to make the pair fall out.

Speaking in the Fond Farewell documentary fans got a behind the scenes look, and got a glimpse of footage of Bryn and Jason on the fishing trip.
The short snippet appeared to have been filmed on a low-quality camera with the characters showing off their biggest catch of the day.
As the Fond Farewell send-off came to an end, viewers were able to see Bryn and Jason by the riverside as well as around a campfire but the scenes were cut abruptly before the credits to not reveal anything further.
Now one star has revealed to RadioTimes.com that the scene was actually filmed 15 years ago but then cut from the series.
Actor Robert Wilfort, who plays Jason, revealed: “Well, we actually filmed that in the original series.
“We filmed that and it never got used.
“We filmed it for the end of series three, so that’s about 15 years ago?
“It never made it in the final episode, it was running too long.
“It was going to be a little, a little more of a tease then … and yeah, so it’s lovely for it to blow everyone’s minds 15 years later.”
