A YOUNG woman shared the predicament she found herself in after beginning an affair with her boyfriend’s dad.
She revealed that she is now torn between both men and doesn’t know what to do.
In a Reddit post, the unnamed user offered some background to the situation.
She acknowledged that what she did is “unforgivable,” adding that she was not trying to justify her actions.
The original poster shared that she has been with her boyfriend for nearly three years and had even moved back to his home country after just a year of dating while living abroad.
“The language here is totally different from mine or any other language I speak, and I have been struggling learning it and making friends,” she explained.
According to the Reddit user, her boyfriend has “always been very supportive,” and helped her out in social situations.
She added that his family are “pretty much the same” and have “always found a way to communicate.”
However, she revealed that she had still been feeling “very isolated” since she can only see her own family once a year.
She explained that her boyfriend was also pressuring her to leave her job and have kids.
“[We’ve been] talking about it a lot lately but I’m not sure I’m ready for this yet,” the Redditor said.
She revealed that at a recent family celebration, the entire group had gathered at a restaurant for lunch.

“I told him to apologise as, in my opinion, this was extremely rude and we ruined the mood of the all day by getting everyone worked up,” she said.
“And in front of everyone, he told me to stop being a b***h about it, sit down, and stop making a scene.”
The woman recalled how she felt “extremely shocked” as he never talked to me this way before, then” and left to go cry in the bathroom.
“I don’t think I’ve ever felt this humiliated in my entire life,” she explained.
After 15 or 20 minutes, her boyfriend’s father came knocking at the door to see how she was doing.
The 50-year-old said he was very sorry for his son’s behaviour, and tried to convince her to come back out.
“I was feeling so bad I could not express myself properly,” she said.
The original poster then revealed that the older man kissed her as she struggled to find words.
“That was way too much for me and I left immediately and took a taxi back home,” she said.
However, two days later she met up with her boyfriend’s dad to discuss what happened and they ended up having sex.
She revealed they have been seeing each other “pretty much everyday ever since.”
“The more it goes, the worst I feel,” she said.
The Redditor added that she’s “always had a little crush on him since” they first met.
However, she explained that she feels bad about what she is doing to the family, revealing that she feels caught between the two men.
“I want to confess what happened and be honest with [my boyfriend], but it would hurt him beyond imagination, and it would destroy the entire family,” she said.
