Who is Dr Jana Denzel? Dentist and Apprentice contestant looking to get his teeth stuck into Lord Sugar’s investment

DR JANA Denzel is an award-winning dentist who hopes to shake up his industry. 

The star physician will be appearing on The Apprentice, where he’ll compete against 17 other candidates for Lord Sugar’s investment.

Stunning success

Jana holds thee degrees – a BSc in biology with psychology; dentistry; and a postgraduate diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry

He regularly delivers lectures on dental psychology and is the lead cosmetic dentist at DenStudio, an award-winning dentistry in central London. 

He provides general and cosmestic dentistry, including veneers and teeth whitening. 

His talent earned him a prestigious award in 2021: Best Young Dentist London.

Jana worked at Harley Street Dental Studio as a restorative and aesthetic dentist until December 2024.

He was also clinical director of Manchester Imaging Ltd from January 2022 until January 2023. 

Dreaming big

Ahead of The Apprentice, Jana opened up about his business plan. 

He wants to “scale up into a national force in the dental industry”, by offering innovative products. 

Jana says that he has recently launched his own oral healthcare product line.

However, he revealed that “having fun” is one of the most important things for him to do on The Apprentice.

He said: “More importantly, I want to ensure that I have fun throughout the process, learn from my peers, and walk away with not just a potential investment, but genuine friendships that will last far beyond the show.”

He also shared that he is proud to be the first Tamil contestant on the show.

The Apprentice kicks off

The nineteenth series of The Apprentice lands on BBC One on January 30, 2025. 

Lord Alan Sugar will be returning to judge the candidates, alongside his trusted advisors Karren Brady and Tim Campbell

Jana will be competing against some of the UK’s top business people, including Emma Street and Amber-Rose Badrudin.
