REAL MADRID are planning a shock move to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to reports.
The Spanish giants are reportedly keen on the Chelsea star and are willing to swap their own midfield dynamo Aurelien Tchouameni with the Blues to get their man.
According to South American outlet DSports, Madrid are planning on “going all out” to sign Fernandez from Chelsea.
The 24-year-old Argentine arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2023 in a deal worth over £106MILLION.
But so far has struggled to live up to his mega price tag despite putting in a consistent level of performance across his 87 appearances for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
It’s claimed that Madrid are hoping to negotiate the transfer as a straight swap for Tchouameni without any additional funds included from either party.

Tchouameni, 24, has struggled for game time under Carlo Ancelotti this season and is said to be unsatisfied with his role in the Spanish capital for now.
The 36-time French international has started 15 league games this term, but has been used predominantly at centre-back despite his preferred position as a midfielder.
Tchouameni joined Los Blancos back in 2022 in a deal worth up to £85.3m from French outfit Monaco.
He has since made over 100 appearance for the Spanish giants, winning the Champions League, La Liga and the Club World Cup.
Chelsea could see some movement elsewhere this month with a number of their stars linked with an exit from SW6.
Christopher Nkunku is reportedly the subject of interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Boss Enzo Maresca has opened the door for some transfer business over the remaining few days of the window.
He said: “We pay attention [to the market] if something can happen.
