According to thrifty shoppers, bargain-mad customers can now get their hands on posh dairy-free chocolate for pennies – and the offer is totally worth skipping your New Year’s resolutions.

Informing others about the epic find, one woman, Kayleigh Layfield, took to Facebook to share the sweet deal she had come across.

”Amazing offers on Nomo chocolate in Sainsbury’s,” the young lass, from Great Yarmouth, wrote in the post.

Cash-savvy foodies can snap up the plant-powered chocolate for a mere 50p down from an eye-watering £4.50 for the Cookie Dough flavour.

The mouth-watering treat is a non-dairy alternative to milk filled with a cookie dough flavour centre containing rice cereal and cocoa pieces – the perfect pick-me-up for cookie dough fans and anyone who enjoys a sweet indulgent treat

With dozens of gleaming reviews, it’s easy to see why this vegan-friendly chocolate has become all the rage amongst foodies who’ve rated it with five stars.

”Amazing!! They are the best thing since sliced bread!! I can’t believe I can eat something like this again as I’m unable to eat pretty much all chocolate sold in stores!” wrote one happy customer.

Another agreed, adding: ”These are definitely the best flavour chocolate bar that NOMO has done by far. Really delicious.”

”Love it best chocolate bar I’ve tasted that doesn’t have dairy in it,” a third wrote positive feedback on the brand’s website.

Another treat that’s been slashed by more than half price from £3.50 down to just 50p is Nomo’s Creamy Choc which is said to be a plant-powered alternative to regular milk chocolate.

”Not too sweet, perfect chocolate, creamy and best of all…. Affordable,” wrote one person

”Offered a piece to my friend who was noticeably surprised as she’d expected it to taste awful (I think it’s tastier than normal chocolate, her face tells me she agreed).”

”Amazing chocolate bar, perfect for kids or eat self with cup of coffee,” a mum chimed in.

Sharing the special promotion, Kayleigh added in the post: ”Cookie dough supposed to be £4.50 scanned at 50p and creamy chocolate supposed to be £3.50 scanned at 50p, dated until November 2025!”

However, if you want to treat yourself to this epic deal, you will have to be quick, as it’s sure to sell out – especially after some customers bagged a total of a whopping 30 bars in one go.

One parent shared her epic haul in the comments, writing: ”We got these this evening.

”There was still plenty left and we got these due to my daughter and myself having milk allergies.”
