A BOMBSHELL documentary about disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is in the works.
Combs, 55, was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution after his arrest last September following a string of allegations against the rapper, producer and music executive.
Joining forces with Lion TV, Channel 4 series Diddy: In Plain Sight will now examine all the charges, following the success of recent documentaries on contro-versial public figures such as Russell Brand, Andrew Tate and Marilyn Manson.
A TV insider said: “As the clock ticks towards Diddy’s trial, it gives an opportunity for those yet to have their voices heard in this case to speak up and give their testimony.
“This in-depth programme will dive into all the charges, the highs and lows of Diddy’s success and what went on behind the scenes at his infamous White Parties.
“It will no doubt produce some very shocking revelations.”
Diddy has been behind bars at New York’s Metropolitan Detention Centre since his arrest.
Accused of running a sex crime empire, Diddy has denied the claims he is facing — stemming from a months-long investig-ation — and has pleaded not guilty in court.
His trial is due to start on May 5.
Channel 4’s series is expected to air later this year and follows an announcement by Netflix that it has also been making a documentary about the fallen star, titled Diddy Do It?
It comes in the wake of a number of series already out across the Pond delving into Diddy’s alleged crimes.
Among them are Peacock’s The Making Of A Bad Boy, TMZ’s The Downfall Of Diddy and HBO’s The Fall Of Diddy — announced last year and due to air Stateside next week.

Its other credits include two hit Netflix documentaries, Secrets Of The Saqqara Tomb and Pompeii: The New Dig.
It is also no stranger to celebrity — having worked on BBC military documentary RAF At 100 with actor Ewan McGregor and his former Tornado pilot brother Colin in 2018, and with Emma Willis on CBBC’s Style It Out last year, where young designers competed to win a show at London Fashion Week.

TALES OF CATFISH HORROR
THE BBC will investigate the shocking story of one of the country’s most prolific cyberstalkers.

New series The Catfish Next Door will delve into the crimes of former NHS nurse Adele Rennie, who was given her third jail term last year – sentenced to 28 months – and is on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
Over a decade, she posed as single men on dating sites to trick women in Kilmarnock, East Ayrs into sending naked photos.
The series will include testimonies from some of her hundreds of victims.
It will also ask why there has been such a stark increase in the illegal practice of “catfishing” – luring someone into a relationship by use of a fictional online persona.
SPENCER PODCAST VENTURE
HE found fame on Made In Chelsea, and has gone on to star in other reality shows including Celebrity MasterChef and The Jump.

But now Spencer Matthews is starting an impressive new chapter.
Spencer, who owns his own non-alcoholic spirits business, recently set a new Guinness World Record by completing 30 consecutive marathons across sand, over 30 days in the desert of Jordan.
It has now inspired him to launch his own podcast, Untapped, to talk about human potential.
His guests will include presenter Jake Humphrey and reality star Jake Quickenden.
Spencer said: “My experience running through the Jordanian desert was a transformative and meaningful time in my life.
“I had a moment of clear realisation that I wanted to change the nature of content I create to align more with my interests and passions.
“Untapped is the realisation of this ambition.”
THE BBC has announced that period drama Miss Austen will land on February 2.
Keeley Hawes stars as author Jane Austen’s less famous sister Cassandra. Adapted from Gill Hornby’s best-selling novel, it also stars Phyllis Logan and Max Irons.
ALI SHOWS SON ROPES
HERE’S a popcorn moment from Alison Hammond’s upcoming BBC travel series with son Aidan – but she admits she had to be patient with him during filming.

The pair venture Stateside for Alison Hammond: Florida Unpacked, as they sample the sights, and food, to give viewers winter escapism later this month.
Alison, who I revealed in June had been signed for the show, said: “It was Aidan’s first time filming so it felt like I had a work-experience apprentice with me.
“He has the same work ethic as me – early mornings, late nights – but handled it. I was surprised.
“You know how teenagers can be, but he was great.”
Aidan said of his mum: “I learned a lot. I used to think presenting was easy but then I had to do it and realised, ‘Wow, she’s really good’.”
CHANNEL 5 is working with elite units of the British Army and Royal Navy on a new series about bomb disposal.
Bomb Squad: Trigger Point will feature testimony from survivors of wars and terror attacks, as military personnel also open up about dealing with these situations.
