STAYING in can be every bit as good as going out, especially when supermarkets are offering Valentine’s Day meal deals for less than £3 a person.
With a supermarket meal deal, you can you can enjoy a romantic and indulgent three-course dinner without breaking the bank and in the comfort of your own home.

And, there’s plenty of choice out there with something for every taste and budget.
So, whether you’re partial to truffles, scallops or pizza, here are all the supermarkets to have revealed their Valentine’s Day menus this year – and what they’ve got on the menu…
Morrisons

Morrisons More Card holders can pick up two starters, two main courses, a side dish, two desserts and a drink for just £15 this Valentine’s Day.
The deal could save customers up to £18.25, with a range of options from the supermarket’s The Best range.
Foodie fans can enjoy a romantic evening with menus including beef en croute with parmesan and truffle mash, as well as a heart-shaped panna cotta.
Other main course options include slow-cooked duck legs, steaks and a vegetarian Wellington.
Those with a sweet tooth can pick from desserts including a melt in the middle pudding and raspberry profiteroles.
With six starters, seven main courses, seven side dishes, six desserts and nearly 20 drinks to choose from, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
The deal will be available between February 10 and February 15 both in-store and online.
Co-op

At the Co-op couples can pick up a main course and side each and a bottle of booze for £10 if they are members of £12 otherwise.
Up for grabs are the likes of chicken parmigiana, with sides such as triple-cooked chips and drinks including a bottle of Prosecco.
Or there’s a vegan mushroom Wellington to pair with mashed potatoes and a bottle of Coca-Cola Zero.
Co-op said customers can save as much as £8.85 through the deal.

There is also an option to add dessert, with the choice of rose cupcakes, Valentine’s Day chocolate lollies or two chocolate melting middle puddings.
Again, members will have the chance to access discounts.
For example, the cupcakes cost £1.75 but members can grab them for £1.50
The offer is available online and in stores from February 5 to 16.

Tesco is offering the chance to pick up a ready-made two-course meal with a side and drink for £12, with the option to add a starter for £6 more.
Couples could kick-start their meal with Tesco’s Finest coquille St Jacques with a panko crumb, and then move on to a main course of chicken ballotine with parmesan and wild garlic with a side of potato dauphinoise.
For dessert, diners could enjoy lemon meringue oyster shells -chocolate coated, lemon-marbled meringue shells filled with a Sicilian lemon curd crème pâtissièrie.
This can be washed down with a variety of drinks including Prosecco Valdobbiadene or a Moth Margarita canned cocktail.
To take advantage of the deal, diners need to have a Tesco Clubcard.
Those keen to shop the offer can do so online or in store from February 10.
Waitrose

Waitrose will be bringing back its £20 dine-in deal for Valentine’s Day.
It offers couples the chance to pick up a three-course meal for two from its No.1 range, as well as a drink.
The six starter options include moules mariniere with wild garlic, a vegetable arancini with basil pesto and a nostalgic prawn cocktail.
Waitrose is offering diners 10 main course options including salmon en croute with Champagne and spinach in buttery puff pastry, British beef sirloin steaks as well as brie and extra mature cheddar potato dauphinoise pies.
The deal also includes a side dish with options including fries, green vegetables and a roasted garlic and buffalo mozzarella flatbread.
Desserts include special Valentine’s day chocolate tortes and macarons.
Customers will also be offered a selection of 10 drinks to choose from including Prosecco, red, white and rose wines, cocktails, beer and soft drinks.
Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury’s has launched a special Valentine’s Taste the Difference dine in for two menu to help you celebrate this year.
The supermarket’s menu is available from February 10 to 16, with 35 products available.
The £18 deal serves two and includes a starter, main course, side dish, dessert and drink.
Starters include a scallop gratin or Italian Calabrian selection, while main courses feature a hearty fish pie, mushroom Wellington, sirloin steak and duck legs with a cherry teriyaki glaze.
Side dishes include Hasselback potatoes with a pink peppercorn butter, while desserts feature a cookie chocolate torte.
So, whatever your tastes you’ll find something to enjoy.
Aldi

Aldi is offering a range of Valentine’s day meal deals, with the cheapest deals starting at just £2.99 per person.
The budget supermarket’s low-cost date night option includes heart-shaped pizzas topped with either spicy pepperoni or semi-dried tomatoes and mozzarella, a heart-shaped garlic bread and pink mini heart-shaped pancakes.
Aldi is also offering a premium meal deal menu for £3.74 a person, featuring tempura prawns, sriracha, heart-shaped pasta with lobster and cheesecakes slices.
The menu is also available with vegan options.
And both premium and cheaper menus give the option to add a bottle of Prosecco for just £4.75.
Marks and Spencer

M&S has unveiled its “most luxurious” Valentine’s day menu to date, with a line-up of returning favourites and new dishes.
The supermarket’s romantic three course meal with drink and side dish will set you back £12.50 per person, with a maximum saving of £17.50.
The extensive offering of seven starters, eight main courses, eight side dishes, seven desserts and 15 drinks includes both vegan and pescatarian options.
Starters include the return of M&S’ baking burrata with an nduja and ciabatta crumb as well as a king prawn and lobster termidor gratin and coquilles St Jacques.
Main courses feature a British Wagyu beef pie, which returns after a sell-out Christmas run, as well as a fillet steak beef Wellington and butternut squash and spinach pie.
To follow are a selection desserts including a Sicilian lemon posset and indulgent chocolate caramel pots.
Of course, to accompany your meal there are a selection of side dishes and drinks ranging from Prosecco to wine, cocktails and low-and-no options.
Asda

Asda is offering shoppers the chance to enjoy a dine-in meal for two including starter, main course, two sides, dessert and drink for just £11.97.
There are 47 dishes to choose from with starters including a prawn cocktail, goats cheese and caramelised onion tarts and crispy mac and cheese bites.
Main courses will include sirloin steaks with a smoked garlic and pink peppercorn butter or salmon fillets with a black pepper, lemon zest and dill butter.
For vegans the supermarket is offering a breaded no-brie heart to start, followed by a mushroom stroganoff pie.
Side dishes include cauliflower cheese, beef dripping, skin-on chips and potato dauphinoise.
Desserts include a melt-in-the-middle Belgian chocolate pudding, strawberries with a Belgian chocolate dip or vanilla panna cotta hearts with a heritage raspberry and Prosecco jelly.
Drinks will include still and sparkling wine as well as alcohol free options such as Kylie Minogue’s booze-free sparkling rosé.
The offer will be available in-store and online between February 6 and February 16.
