IT’S one of the cheapest places around – and perfect for stocking up on bargain party bits.
But one mum has urged other Temu shoppers to take care when placing an order on the site, and to ensure they read the product description fully.
She took to TikTok to share a video documenting her error, as she shared a screenshot of the hats she had ordered.
She revealed she had intended the products – which came in a pack of 15 – to be used for her daughter’s first birthday party.
“When you order party hats from Temu…” she wrote over the snap on the video.
She then panned out to show her adorable little girl modelling one of the hats.
However, instead of a traditional party size, it appears that the hats were made for toys or small pets.
And while the hat looked super cute on the birthday girl, they weren’t quite what the mum had been expecting.
“Should have read the description and checked the photos more clearly!” she captioned the video.
She added hashtags including #temufail and #whatiorderedversuswhatigot.
Despite the mum admitting she’d made a mistake in the post, others insisted the hat looked even cuter due to being so teeny.
“It makes her look more cute and she is so chuffed with it!” one laughed.
