It’s been another chastening week for the Australian, who is odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.
Following successive victories over Elfsborg and Brentford, Spurs exited both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in the space of four days.
The first was a humiliating 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield in which the visitors failed to register a single shot on target.
The second arrived at Villa Park with Jacob Ramsey netting after just 57 seconds.
Postecoglou’s statement in September that “I always win things in my second year” is now looking unlikely with the Europa League his only realistic chance of silverware.

Thomas Frank and Andoni Iraola lead the charge at 4/1 with talkSPORT BET.
