MOLLY-Mae Hague fans were left ‘in tears’ as she opened up about her split from Tommy Fury in a new documentary.
The former couple, who were runners-up on Love Island in 2019, ended their engagement last year.
Influencer Molly, 25, has a documentary titled Molly Mae: Behind It All, out now on Prime Video.
She discussed the behind the scenes struggle as her and Tommy’s five-year relationship broke down.
Molly revealed: “He wanted to have a family life but also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities and the two don’t go hand in hand.”
The influencer added: “He’s never had an alcohol problem, it’s just that alcohol caused problems for us.
“It got to a point where I wasn’t really looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much.”
Fans were left feeling emotional, as they shared reactions on social media.

Meanwhile, Molly and Tommy welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023.

In the long-awaited documentary, Molly admitted that while she didn’t want to break up with her fiancé, she had to.
She told sister Zoe: “I’m not breaking up with him because I don’t love him anymore, I’m breaking up with him because he hasn’t given me a single other choice.”
Continuing, she said: “Even over the last year I’ve been so much more aware of things that have been going on, that I was so naive to for so long and I still don’t think I know the full picture.”
Fans were stunned in August last year when the pair announced their split.
Molly penned a statement on Instagram at the time, writing: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.
“After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
