Facebook users called it ‘fantastic’ and were stunned by the transformation

Using cheap buys from B&Q and Temu, Becca Pearson was able to turn her bathroom from drab to fab without breaking the bank – and it’s left many open-mouthed.

Keen to show off her bathroom overhaul, Becca took to social media and shared a before and after look at the space.

Posting on DIY On A Budget Official, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Becca uploaded pictures of her bathroom – which is now super chic and trendy.

Alongside the post, she penned: “Bathroom makeover using paint and vinyl wallpaper from Temu.”

She then explained: “I used V33 Multi Surface Paint in Green Khaki Satin.”

Becca used V33 Acrylic Paint, which you can order online from Amazon or buy from B&Q and Screwfix.

Not only did she paint her once pink tiles, but she also used vinyl wallpaper to turn her once blue wall into a pretty floral scene.

She confirmed that she used a gloss roller to apply two rolls of vinyl wallpaper and when it came to the painting, she acknowledged: “I think I did two to three coats but it covered really easy.

“Not sure how long it will last.”

Thrilled with her bathroom renovation, she claimed: “It was about £35.”

Thanks to a lick of paint and some vinyl wallpaper, Becca was able to give her bathroom a fresh new look – and we think it’s super impressive.

And many others were clearly left equally as stunned by Becca’s new bathroom, as her post has quickly amassed 330 likes.

DIY fans eagerly flocked to the comments, keen to praise Becca’s quick and easy project.

Another added: “That’s lovely. Well done.”

A third commented: “I liked the pink with stars, but on seeing what you’ve done, it’s far better. Well done.”

Whilst someone else wrote: “Looks so much brighter, very good job.”

However, many admitted that they actually preferred Becca’s bathroom prior to its renovation.

One user claimed: “I love the star tiles so much. Where were they from please and were they very expensive?”

To this, Becca confirmed: “They were from Homebase a few years ago.

“I felt they didn’t hold their colour too well. They are called Starry Skies.”

At the same time, a second chimed in: “I love the before!”
