HEART FM star reveals her sadness in a heartfelt message to fans after being told her radio show has been abruptly axed.
Heart Drive presenter Hannah Clarkson hosts Feel Good music and chat from 4pm – 7pm, every Monday to Friday. across the East of England.
However, Hannah shared a sad update on social media which shocked her fans.
The photograph shows a smiling Hanna sitting at her radio desk. It is captioned: “So a week ago I found out that sadly my show on Heart across the East of England is coming to an end soon.
“To say I’ve enjoyed broadcasting to over half a million of you every afternoon is an understatement. It’s been a dream come true.
“A real pleasure and I’ll miss it so much. Thank you for all the support and love. And here’s to the next 5 weeks on air! “
Her followers were quick to respond with comments showing their support and concern.
One declared: “Very sad! Love listening to you. Good luck for whatever is next for you xx.”
Another added: “Let’s do what everyone else seems to do and make more money with a podcast!”
While a third stated: “A sad day for radio. Again.”
“Oh wow Hannah Daisy Clarkson that is so sad to hear. Your show is always great to listen to and you will be so much missed by us loyal listeners. We will all certainly make the most of the time you have left” added another listener.
“Another nail in the radio coffin” stated another.

Earlier last month, Zoe Ball, 54, stepped away from her breakfast show to focus on family after her mother Julia passed away from cancer.

Then the mum-of-two gave a special shout out to her kids, telling them: “Being your mum is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Zoe was the first female host of the Radio 1 and Radio 2’S breakfast shows, taking over at BBC 2 from Chris Evans in 2019.
Scott Mills who presented the afternoon show replaces her to say a warm good morning to listeners.
In another major station shake up, Lauren Laverne quit the BBC 6 Music breakfast show.
The radio star, 46, who revealed she’d been given the all-clear from cancer in November, is moving to the late morning slot in February.
Her replacement has been revealed as Nick Grimshaw, who is returning to early morning radio permanently three years after quitting the Radio 1 breakfast show.
Nick, 40, has hosted the show for Lauren for the past couple of months as she phased her return to work following her cancer battle.
Lauren announced while guesting alongside him: “I’m going to be on after you 10-1, which is really exciting. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Mary Anne Hobbs, who is the current 10am -1pm host, is taking a step back from the station but will return in the late spring with a brand new show.
Lauren described her as “the most wonderful person” and revealed she was the first to congratulate her.”
Lauren will continue to host the legendary Desert Island Discs, which she calls her dream job, after taking over from Kirsty Young in 2018.
