KATIE Price’s ex-fiancé Carl Woods sparked concern by mysteriously deleting all trace of himself from social media this week.
But now The Sun can exclusively reveal why the car dealer, 35, has turned his back on apps like Instagram days before the release of an IVF documentary on Channel 4 from his time with Katie.

A source close to Carl told us: “Carl has absolutely no desire to promote the documentary at all.
“He doesn’t believe it should be given screen time seeing as it was filmed nearly two years ago and he no longer has any association with Katie.
“However, he accepts there’s nothing that can be done and felt it was better to come off social media for now, at least until the both episodes have aired and any interest has died down.
“The last thing he wants is to be dragged back to that time of his life.”
Earlier this week, Carl spoke exclusively to us about the programme and admitted he won’t be tuning in.
He called the failure of the former couple’s IVF journey a “blessing in disguise” and said they shouldn’t have gone through with it given the precarious nature of their relationship.
“This is not a heartbreak situation,” he said. “I’m not unhappy that it didn’t work. I’m ecstatic that it didn’t work.
“I’m sure she’s glad she’s got the clean break. You know, we don’t have any ties.
“So actually, yes, everything happens for a reason. God was looking down on me and Kate and said, ‘you’re not matched to be parents, let’s not make this work. You go that way, I’ll go this way’.”
The timing of the release – 18 months after it was recorded – was met with raised eyebrows from Carl, too.

Katie, 46, previously said she won’t be watching either due to the difficult memories, however, her view seems to have shifted as yesterday she shared a clip from the documentary on Instagram in a bid to get followers to tune in.
In it, she says: “Although I may not act my age, dress my age, my body is the real age. My biological clock is ticking.”
The treatment was ultimately unsuccessful and the mum-of-five is now in a relationship with JJ Slater.
