KATIE Price’s ex-fiancé Carl Woods has slammed her upcoming IVF documentary as it finally airs two years after it was filmed.
The car dealer, 35, split from Katie, 46, in December 2023 – just months after two-part documentary Katie Price: Making Babies was made.
The treatment was unsuccessful and didn’t lead to a sixth child for Katie and a first for Carl, which he now describes as a “blessing in disguise”.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Carl says of the Channel 4 programme: “My thoughts are that it’s old news, everybody’s moved on.
“I can’t see the point in it airing.”
He continues: “I’m sure she’s glad she’s got the clean break. You know, we don’t have any ties.
“Everything happens for a reason. God was looking down on me and Kate and said, ‘no, you’re not matched to be parents, let’s not make this work. You go that way, I’ll go this way. So it worked out well.”
The IVF treatment followed a turbulent period in which Carl discovered Katie had cheated on him with former international polo star Jamie Morrison and traded sexy messages with an England footballer.
In hindsight, he believes they shouldn’t have even started the process of trying for a baby.
He recalls how he returned from visits to the clinic questioning what they were doing.
“You know, it wasn’t a good period of time,” he says. “We wasn’t right for each other and we shouldn’t have been filming an IVF doc, because IVF and having children puts strain on a relationship and when you’re relationship is not good already, I mean, I think Kate would agree with me, we was in no position to be doing that and we shouldn’t have done it.
“But we did, you know, we went through it and I dare say you’ll see some ups and downs. I dare say you’ll see some cracks appear.

“We’d filmed the day and I’d think, ‘you know what, we shouldn’t be doing this’, but we was in the contract, it was happening and that’s life.”
Had the treatment been successful, Carl doesn’t believe it would have made any difference to the outcome of their relationship.
“I think we would have ended up in the same place that we’re in now to be truthful with you,” he says.
“It would have just been more complicated because there would have been a child involved.”
Katie previously said that she won’t be watching as the memories associated with the IVF attempt are too painful.
Carl won’t be tuning in either and even declined the opportunity to watch a screening of the programme.
He says: “It’s coming out, it is what it is. I can’t understand why. I’m sure Kate can’t understand why as well.
“I’m not stressed about it. I’m not going to watch it. You know, it was a long time ago. Bygones be bygones. It’s all buried.
“She won’t reach out to me, I won’t reach out to her. There’s nothing to talk about. It is the final tie, I guess, that we have to each other.”
