A MUM-OF-THREE has revealed the most common things people say to her when she takes her identical triplets out.
Shannon explained that she hears the same comments from strangers when she heads out with her triple pram – and some of them definitely err on the rude side.
“These are the things I hear daily whilst out walking with the triplets,” she began her TikTok video.
She enlisted the help of her other half to reenact the situations she experiences on an almost daily basis, as he declared: “Oh triplets, you’ve got your hands full!”
Other people ask if they can “have a look” at the babies – Aljo, Enzo and Cruz – to which Shannon tells them: “Oh yeah but don’t get too close because they are newborns.”
However, people also go a bit too far as they sometimes ask Shannon if “they were IVF“.
When she replies that they were, they say: “Thought so!”
“Three? Yeah. God that’s my worst nightmare,” is another remark she’s used to hearing, as well as people joking she “needs a license” to drive the massive pram.
Others reference the weather when they insist it’s “too cold for babies out in this”, while one of the most common comments Shannon gets is, “Cor I bet you don’t get much sleep!”
She concluded the video by insisting she doesn’t take offence to the remarks, adding: “This is only a joke – we appreciate people stopping to talk to us!”
However, the comments section was almost immediately filled with mums admitting they’d had the same – and take issue with the IVF remark.
“I got a lot of this with my twins. I know it’s curiosity but the IVF question is a step too far in my opinion!” one wrote.

As someone else said: “I used to hate this question. Still do if I’m honest.
“Even if they are IVF conceived, it’s like it was a choice to go that route without understanding why somebody had to use it.”
“Do people really say were they IVF!? People never cease to shock me!” another wrote.
With Shannon replying: “That’s probably the most common one along with ‘you’ve got your hands full’.”
“When people ask me if I did IVF, I just stare at them and say ‘yes, because I had cancer and had my ovaries removed’,” someone else admitted.
“Them squirming is great. Like, ‘Oh did I make you uncomfortable?'”
