A WOMAN who transformed her council house from a “horrendous” state into a “10/10” has hit back at trolls calling her “ungrateful”.
Mum-of-four Louise knew she had a lot of work ahead of her when she moved into the property with her kids and other half.

Not only had it been left in “really bad” condition, the whole thing needed repainting because it was all green, and the doors were “bright yellow” because of the previous tenants’ smoking.
It was also full of “broken” sections, including a radiator cover, as Louise added: “Things aren’t ideal”.
However, she promised in the TikTok video that she’d share some before pictures of how it had been left, as she warned people they’d be “shocked” to see them.
They’d turned what had been a wet room into a utility room, but Louise added that “it needs plastering in here and we need to fix that, the bottom of that worktop”.
New carpets are on their way for the stairs and landing, while she painted the banister and the hall too.
She has some of the kids’ drawers in the main room because theirs are “so small”.
“I like to let them have that bit of extra space,” she added.
While it’s “quite small upstairs”, and they have yet to put the skirting on downstairs, Louise is generally happy with the makeover, adding: “I just feel like it’s so much cleaner.”
And despite the fact the comments section was filled with people praising Louise for the transformation, there were also those from trolls, who slammed her for apparently being “ungrateful”.
“Be grateful, some people have been waiting years for a council house,” one raged.

“And do you know how long it took for her to get it ? she’s got it beautiful.”
“Thank you,” Louise replied.
“I’m genuinely so grateful. I really didn’t mean to come across ungrateful.”
“Pity party for moving into a house that wasn’t aesthetically pleasing to you,” someone else insisted.
“People move into small houses with health hazards all the time, didn’t hear an ounce of gratefulness.”
“You got a free house so stop moaning,” another wrote.
Louise hit back in another TikTok, as she insisted “nothing’s free”, and she still has to pay rent, council tax and bills.
She also responded to trolls in a separate video, as she urged people to “be kind” and think before they speak.
“What is wrong with some people on this app?” she sighed.
“On my recent video, I’ve had like some really positive and lovely comments, just like nice people. And then there’s like a bit where you can review the comments.
“And some of the comments are so spiteful and just so unkind.
“I can’t comprehend what would make somebody go out of their way and just comment something nasty on somebody’s video?
“Like just be kind!”
She added in another comment: “You never fully know the depths of somebody’s life.
“Please be kind, always.”
Other more positive remarks on the makeover included one from an interior designer who praised Louise for “slaying the design”.
“BUT HOWWWW?” another marvelled.
To which Louise replied: “Hard bloody work and lots of second hand things!”
