LUKE LITTLER has jetted off for a well-deserved break after his World Championship success.

The 17-year-old became the youngest ever winner of the competition when he smashed Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in last Friday’s final.

Littler’s win pocketed him a whopping £500,000 and he has spent some of his fortune on a holiday.

The Nuke has flown to Alicante in Spain to soak up some winter sun.

Littler posted a brief clip on Instagram him strolling along the Playa del Albir promenade.

Golden sands and crystal clear blue seas are seen in his video.

The popular beach is found between the towns of Benidorm and Altea.

It is unclear who he is on holiday with, but his brother could be with him as he celebrates turning 21 this month.

Leon told SunSport that he would do “the celebrating for Luke” as you “cannot do much” with a 17-year-old.

Meanwhile, in Littler’s home town of Warrington, the teenager was congratulated with a sign on a bus.

But fans told them “they should have gone to Specsavers” as his name was spelt wrong.

Littler has revealed he is “recharging the batteries” before his return to the oche on January 16 at the Bahrain Darts Masters.
