JOSE MOURINHO has continued his vendetta against Super Lig referees with an extraordinary rant.

The Special One branded the Turkish top flight “toxic” after his side Fenerbahce beat Hatayspor 2-1 over the weekend.

The Special One used an example from Galatasaray’s 2-2 draw with Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday

Mourinho fumed that Hatayspor should have been “down to eight players” after a series of bad challenges.

He raged: “If the opponent’s colours were different, they could have been down to 8 players.

“We know the toxic league we play in.

“They know how to play against us, how to play against the opponent.

“There should have been 5 reds [in a previous game against Eyupspor] and this match.”

The Portuguese coach was back on the offensive Wednesday after a heated encounter between Galatasaray and Istanbul Basaksehir.

During the 2-2 game, former Fenerbahce star Miguel Crespo was taken out by a bad tackle from Abdukerim Bardakci.

The Galatasaray man went unpunished, prompting another referee rant from the Special One.

One fan responded: “No red card was given, Jose continues to defend Fenerbahce’s rights until the end.”

Another wrote: “Mourinho’s career in Turkey – 10 per cent coach, 90 per cent showman.”

While a third commented: “Josè Savage Mourinho.”

But a fourth countered: “He plays the ball first! Mourinho is crying again like he always does to cover up his unsuccessful season!”

Fenerbache are currently locked in a title battle with rivals Galatasaray.

Mourinho’s men have lost just twice all season, but find themselves 8 points adrift of top spot.

The ex-Man Utd coach recently confirmed he had undergone minor surgery over the festive period.

He wrote on Instagram: “For those of you who have shown concern, I can confirm reports of my surgery have been greatly exaggerated, it’s just a quick and minor procedure.

“I will resume training on the first day back from the holidays, as always.

“I’ve never missed a session in 25 years, and I don’t intend to start now. JM.”

While reports on Thursday suggest Everton could be eyeing up the Special One as a replacement for Sean Dyche.
