SILENT Witness fans have been left ‘traumatised’ after bosses killed of TWO characters in ‘uncomfortable’ scenes.
The long-running BBC crime drama returned to screens for its 28th series on air.

During the first episode viewers watched as two new faces joined Dr Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson.
Maggie Steed plays Harriet, the new head of The Lyell Centre and Francesca Mills stars as crime analyst Kit.
As the episode continued pensioner Benjamin was looking for his friend Gloria after being caught up in a fraudulent scheme.
He later killed the culprit before attacking a couple who were in Gloria’s house.
However, little did he realise that his dear friend was already dead.
The story – which spanned over two episodes – came to an end as the real culprit was caught and jailed.
But for Silent Witness viewers at home, the scenes left them feeling ‘sick’ and ‘traumatised’.
Taking to social media, one said: “I don’t think I’ve ever felt so angry at characters on the TV … I feel positively sick at the storyline sick!”
A second wrote: “I am finding this more upsetting than some of the violent murders we see in this programme. #SilentWitness.”
