FINDING the perfect hair cut can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you want to keep up with current trends.
But according to one hair whizz there’s one classic style you can always rely on and the best part is it suits everyone.
You might’ve previously thought your face shape dictates the style best suited for you – but this is a great option for all.
Bobby Collier, hair stylist at Larry King explained that the classic bob hair cut is “flattering on absolutely everyone.”
“That’s why I think it’s such a nice haircut. It’s low maintenance and works with all hair types,” the hair whizz told Express.co.uk.
The best thing about the bob is it’s a very versatile style and can be very short or on the longer side.
In fact, the pro explained that it can go from your jawline to your shoulders.
The most important thing to consider when getting a bob is getting the texture right, Bobby said.
If you face is round a textured style may work best, especailly with face-framing layer to help “close off the face”.
Meanwhile, those with heart-shaped or oval faces can pull off the classic French bob with ease.
And you can even spruce it up with a grown-out fringe, much like superstar Sabrina Carpenter.
Bobby continued: “Someone with a square-shaped face shouldn’t go for a chin-length cut as this will only accentuate their strong, angular jawline.”

But be warned, a bob isn’t always a low maintenance style and will need to be trimmed every six week, Bobby added.
Bobby isn’t the only hair pro who swears by the classic bob either, hair whizz Glam Girl Gabi, revealed which haircuts will make you look younger – and the bob made her list.
”You can completely transform the way someone looks and feels by giving them a great haircut that is not only suitable for their age but complementary to their age,” she explained in a video shared on her YouTube channel, Glam Girl Gabi.
The chic bob – whether super sleek or a bit messy – has been all the rage for the last few years, and looks like we won’t be getting rid of this elegant hairdo any time soon, and rightly so.
The reason this haircut is so flattering for those 50+, Gabi explained, is that it’s both trendy and ”super sophisticated” – and it also gives you a free facelift.
”It makes your face look signiciantly more full with way less effort than if you have long hair.”
With bobs, she added, there’s also plenty of choice on how you want to style it – such as a gradual bob, a straight bob and one complete with a fabulous fringe.
