The Grand National is back on Saturday, April 5, 2025, with hundreds of thousands heading to Aintree to catch the biggest race of the year.

In 2024, I Am Maximus stormed to a brilliant victory, giving trainer Willie Mullins his second win in the iconic race.

“I don’t know whether people think I’m going to be replacing AP [McCoy] or Ruby [Walsh] or Alice [Plunkett] – absolutely not.

“I’m going to let them do the talking and the analysis as usual.”

Calling the races across the three days will be the brilliant trio of Richard Hoiles, Mark Johnson and Stewart Machin.

On Saturday, Oli will be joined by Ruby for a detailed, fence-by-fence breakdown of the Grand National.

The Opening Show will air on ITV4 each day, switching to ITV1 on Saturday.
